Welcome to Pawy Academy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used when you read dog care lessons, save lessons, complete quizzes, browse breed profiles, or manage Pawy Premium.
1. Information We Collect
Pawy Academy is designed to work without a user account. The app uses a small amount of information to keep your learning experience working and to help us improve the app:
- Personal Data: We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name or email address.
- Learning Data: Completed lessons, saved lessons, quiz progress, and measurement preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this learning progress to our servers.
- Analytics Data: We use Firebase and Google Analytics to collect app activity and usage information, such as lesson completion, premium screen views, rating prompts or rating actions, session activity, app interactions, approximate location, and device or app information.
- Identifiers: Firebase and Google Analytics may use app-instance identifiers, Firebase installation identifiers, device identifiers, and, depending on platform settings and app configuration, advertising identifiers.
- Purchase Data: If you subscribe to Pawy Premium, purchases are processed by the app store. We use store-provided purchase status to unlock premium lessons and may log subscription funnel events, such as subscription start and completion, in analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information used by Pawy Academy helps the app and our team:
- Remember completed lessons and saved lessons on your device.
- Show your next available lesson and local progress.
- Apply your metric or imperial measurement preference in breed profiles.
- Confirm whether Pawy Premium lessons should be unlocked.
- Measure app usage, understand which lessons and premium screens are used, diagnose issues, and improve the app experience.
3. Data Storage and Security
Pawy Academy stores learning progress and preferences locally on your device. Analytics and subscription conversion events are transmitted to Firebase and Google Analytics. We rely on platform and service-provider security controls for transmitted analytics data, and we recommend using device-level protection such as a passcode, fingerprint, or face unlock.
4. Third-Party Services
Pawy Academy uses app store services for subscriptions, purchase restoration, and subscription management. These services are provided by the platform where you downloaded the app, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, and are covered by their own privacy policies and terms. We also use Firebase and Google Analytics, provided by Google, for app analytics and usage measurement.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Analytics data and related identifiers may be processed by Google through Firebase and Google Analytics to provide analytics reports and service functionality. Purchase transactions are handled by the app store provider, and we receive or use purchase status information only as needed to unlock Pawy Premium and understand subscription conversion behavior.
6. Children's Privacy
Pawy Academy is a dog care education app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it if needed.
